5 Things You Might Not Know About Me
Well what better way to welcome you to the new blog than with some fun facts about me! Do you ever find yourself mindlessly scrolling your social media “friends” feed to see what they’ve been up to lately?! Come on…it’s ok! I am guilty of this too. But how much do we really know the people we follow on social media? What we’re up to on social media isn’t what we are ALWAYS up to… But hey…if one things is certain from my insta…Yes I am a homebody! That part is 100% real haha!! For those of you new around here I’d like to share with you 5 REAL things you may (if you’re like my best friend of 19 years) or may not know about me…
I have 4 less adult teeth than the average adult: umm how does that even happen? Well I have a rough history with the dentist…and orthodontist okay. Kidding it was'n’t that rough…and I actually really LOVE my dentist! But apparently I have a small mouth and all my adult teeth were too crowded. So those babies had to go. I couldn’t tell you which teeth they were…but I’ve had multiple people actually count their teeth as I counted mine to confirm I wasn’t making this up!
I’ve had braces twice: figured I’d just piggy back off numero uno….I had braces when I still had some baby teeth and then again once those baby teeth fell out. You’ll be happy to know I never had headgear…but I did have a lot of other things like: spacers, expanders, rubberbands…yep. I was a braceface…and LOVED IT.
I don’t own an iron: never have actually haha. I guess its one of those generational things. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my mom iron either…But like no need to be mad about it for all you wrinkle haters…I think wrinkles bring together my whole tired entrepreneur look. Kidding…an extra cycle or two or three in the dryer never hurt. We do own a steamer tho for when I actually need to look presentable.
I played the violin for 8 years: and still am not very good at it! I had this really popular (at the time) violin teacher Mr. K. Anyone in Milwaukee who played the violin knew this man. I never really thought I was any good at the violin so in middle school I made the switch from violin to cello and immediately fell in love! I loved playing the cello and was wayyyy better at than the violin.
I will never EVER go on a cruise: but I can’t really pinpoint why. I mean I hate deep water to start with soooo that could be. But there is something that I just can’t grasp my head around…like how this big a** boat hold all these people but doesn’t sink…NO THANKS!
