Embracing Your Postpartum: A Self-Love Journey of Mothers
ABOUT EMBRACING Your postpartum
Ahhhh!!! Thank you so much for showing interest in my project for you and all mothers from any shape and size to Embrace Your Postpartum. I am extremely passionate about documenting this journey of mothers from all walks of life and sharing that we can learn to LOVE our postpartum bodies whatever that may look like.
Postpartum, Fourth Trimester, Post-baby….whichever you chose to call it is often a time that is easily overlooked. I mean…it’s not like there is a cute new bundle of joy that everyone has waited 9 months to meet. But this time is also very important for us mothers as well. To heal, learn, adapt. We too have become a new person in this world. Whether it be your first child or third, our bodies are always changing.
I want this moment to be for YOU! Not anyone else. Sure, this project is about bringing women together…but I really want YOU to feel empowered with this session. I want you to see your body in a new light. I mean it’s not like WE GREW A WHOLE LIFE or anything! Our bodies adapt to allow another life to be born. That is something to be proud of! And what is left behind is a gentle reminder that we did something amazing.
My hope throughout is this project is to show that not everyone’s journey is the same. But no journey is less than or greater than the next. For me, I have shiny, lighter colored stretch marks and lots of loose skin in my stomach. For others they may have no stretch marks, but maybe a c-section scar. Stretch marks, scars, loose skin, abs, saggy boobs….yep…that’s me too - it’s all part of our own journey! And we deserve to proud of it. Not hide form it or feel like we have to pretend it isn’t there. Join me in standing up for Postpartum Love…stand up and Embrace Your Postpartum with me!

how to join the movement
Think you’d be a great fit to join the movement? That’s amazing!! I would love to reach as many beautiful and strong women as I can. You can show your interest by submitting your name and email below. This will email you a questionnaire to complete for me to review before I send you the sign up form. The reason I have added this step is because I understand that this can be very scary and intimidating for some women. I still struggle daily with being positive and loving my new postpartum body. I want to make sure that you understand the project and are comfortable with me photographing you in what may be a very vulnerable time for some.
A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to hold your spot as I am reserving an entire weekend of my time with all you lovely ladies and have limited slots so serious inquires only please. If you have any questions…please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to chat over any of your questions or concerns.
Available time slots will be first come first serve. Time slots are subject to change to accommodate studio booking time. I will do my best to book all sessions with a time block to avoid gaps during the day. Once I have reviewed your questionnaire - you will be invited to select your time slot and pay your retainer fee. The remaining balance can be paid anytime up until 10 days before the event.
